This gem is so wonderful ! Plenty of outdoor seating. Even thought it was busy on a Sunday and the line was out the door it was ran really efficiently. While in line a young lady came up took our order or passed out Menus which expedited things once u got to the register. Verity of different picks for food brunch, breakfast and lunch. I found this place a pleasant experience, local like. There's usually some parking behind the establishment near the train station or street parking.

Every time I come here, it NEVER disappoints! I live in the central valley and it's my favorite spot to eat at whenever I'm nearby. Their french toast is beyond delicious. Their egg sandwich is one of the best I've ever tasted. Definitely a must-try place!

Cafe Borrone is the place to go to breakfast on the weekends in Menlo Park. I also like going for any other meal any other day of the week. Everything here is good- I really like their breakfast wraps, chicken salad salad, paninis, and allegedly James and Dave Franco really like the tri tip sandwich. The ONLY reason why I sometimes avoid going here is because of the pigeon situation. If you are a bird hater like me, this is not the place for you. The last time I was here i was eating oatmeal and I turned around and someone's dog was taking a bite out of an alive pigeon that was in a dish bin and it was a whole thing. I do consider myself to be more resilient than many of the other bird haters in the community, so I will continue to go back, but be warned that this is not an isolated pigeon-related incident. ALSO- if you order drinks, remember to pick them up at the drink station. They usually forget to tell you this so if you are new, here you go. I have forgotten this several times despite growing up coming here and have had several cold drinks waiting for me and are warm by the time I finally pick them up. Parking garage is underneath the building (the entrance is across from Philz).

As others have mentioned, Cafe Borrone is an institution in Menlo Park! It's been family-owned and serving the community since 1979, making so many of their offerings by hand, using local and sustainable ingredients. We frequented Cafe Borrone for 10 years when we lived in the area, then moved away. On our recent visit, we were thrilled to see them still open and thriving! Order at the counter. There's almost always a line so don't be deterred. It moves quickly. Get a number and then find a table inside or outside on their sprawling patio. We found a shaded outdoor table and our food was brought out to us pretty quickly. We shared: Organic Beet Salad: Roasted Organic Beets, Grapefruit, Pickled Fennel, Avocado, Goat Cheese, & House Balsamic Vinaigrette *this is a beet salad, not a green salad - super light and refreshing flavor combo! C.A.T.S. sandwich: Jarlsberg Cheese, Avocado, Tomato, Sprouts, (no Mayonnaise) on Baguette *my favorite! Just as good as ever. We used to order this To-Go, to take on flights or trips into the city. It carries well. Gouda Sandwich (see "House Focaccia Specials" on the menu): Zoe's Turkey, Smoked Gouda, Caramelized Onions, Tomatoes, Organic Mixed Greens, (no Mayonnaise), Served on House Focaccia *soft, delicious focaccia, caramelized onions for the win! To drink we had an unsweetened iced tea and an iced matcha. They offer a full array of espresso beverages, as well some wine and beer options. They serve breakfast, bakery items, lunch, and afternoon bites 5 days a week, and dinner is available on Saturdays and Sundays. There's a parking garage below the cafe. What a treat to enjoy Cafe Borrone again! We'll be back!

We had an excellent experience at Cafè Borrone! The coffee was strong and delicious, providing the perfect start to our morning. We enjoyed the French toast and egg scramble, both of which were cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The ambiance of the café was very pleasant, creating a relaxing environment to enjoy our meal. The service was fairly quick and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. We'll definitely be returning soon!

Arrived around 11 AM on a Saturday, the line was out the door but it moved fairly quickly. You line up to order and then sit down, there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The food also came out pretty quickly after ordering considering how busy it was. We got the frosted mocha, Italian torta, vanilla French toast, and salmon bagel. The mocha flavor is good in the frosted mocha but it's super thick, almost like ice cream whipped with cookie butter. Overall, the food was solid and as expected

Great cafe ambiance for a coffee, brunch, or lunch. The line to order moves pretty quick then you seat yourself and the food gets brought out to your table. Large selection of tables both indoors and outdoors. I got the granola bowl and added yogurt and blueberries, and it came out to almost $20 which is pretty pricy in my opinion. Really enjoyed it however, definitely recommend their homemade granola.

3.5 stars - mostly for attentive friendly service and good capp. I took a friend out for a bday lunch and we both got sandwiches. I got the veggie melt on sourdough/rye - thought it was sourdough only - actually we both did so not too excited to get the combo with seeds in it. Anyway - my sandwich looked impressive but it was just a soggy mess of very meh flavors - which is odd - had to add salt and pepper to it - really lackluster esp for $19 - nothing else comes with it like a side salad etc Friend got chicken salad - just on some sliced bread - nothing special. Total for two sandwiches plus one drip coffee and capp came to $45! Kinda of spendy for such a meh sorta of meal Cafe is really nice ambience and the customer service is really good. Perhaps we ordered the wrong thing
